Organize and Activity

1. We are a fraternal religious organization called: Brothers of the Holy Word(c)

2. We meet weekly to learn Christ’s Holy Word, his Saints and for unity to better live our faith

3. We grow to full and participation in the sacraments, Encouraging members to receive the Bread frequently.

4. We endeavor to get together 2x a year for retreats.

5. We Learn and individually identify with a special Saint known for knowledge or love of the faith as a spiritual mentor, perhaps a doctor of the church, and endeavor to learn and reflect their charism in our understanding of the faith and our lives.  We seek and accept spiritual direction from competent directors, particularly knowledgeable religious. 

 Standing committees

  1. BOTHW- The Word. We grow with the living Word of God, weekly/gain spiritual direction/learn spiritual warfare and dogmatic faith, and help members identify saint to emulate as dogmatic mentor. Other standing committees report to BOTHW-The Word committee.

  2.    BOTHW- Stewards of Creation. which help us grow in special events-tied into economic sustainability, events and on-line sessions.-economic sustainability. Community focal ideally perhaps next to a parish to add community growth with an eye toward renewing Christian art. 

  3. BOTHW-Serving the Poor and Economic Sustainability . This committee leads the effort to help  the poor and the sustainably of the organization.

Members are deemed Novices-Philia until they participate in the full sacraments of the Church, taking the reasonable amount of time they need. Upon entering full communion with the Church, they are deemed and achieve the title of  Servant-Agape.
